How I work
A portfolio career means most weeks look a little different. The through-line is individuals and organisations trying to make a hard call, build a thing that lasts, or change shape without losing their nerve.
Start a conversation. Most good engagements begin with a twenty-minute call to work out whether I'm the right person.
Boards & advisory
Currently on the Dean's Industry Advisory Council at Monash, and a Director and Co-founder of Epilogue. Open to one more non-executive or advisory role, selectively.
Strongest fit: purpose-driven organisations, technology-heavy transformations, scale-up boards needing a steady hand around delivery, change and governance.
Executive advice & problem solving
Independent counsel for leaders and teams, helping clarify the real problem, map the politics, and figure out what to do next. No decks for the sake of it.
- Executive advisory
Ongoing sounding-board work with CEOs, founders and senior leaders.
- Consultative problem solving
Short engagements on a specific knotty thing — a strategy, a structure, a stuck program.
I'm not for every brief — best when the problem is messy and you want a blunt thinking partner.
Speaking & facilitation
Leadership, change and agile delivery, women in tech, the future of work, and more. Keynotes, panels, masterclasses, roundtables and facilitation.
- Keynotes, panels & hosting
Leadership, change, women in tech, the future of work, and agile delivery. I also moderate panels and host events when the room needs a steady, self-deprecating hand.
- Masterclasses & short training
Specialised sessions on influencing and consulting, delivery planning, agile leadership, and risk-centred delivery leadership.
- Roundtables & facilitation
Small-group conversations and collaborative workshops designed for the question actually on the table, not the agenda you inherited.
Happiest in rooms where people want to question, argue, and actually do something with what's said.
Coaching
One-to-one and small-group coaching for leaders navigating change, scale, or the moment where the old playbook stops working.
- The shift from leading a team to leading leaders
The job changes more than people expect. I've made that transition, and I've watched a lot of others make it.
- A thinking partner through a period of change
Organisational, personal, or existential. I'm not a counsellor — I'm someone to work your work-self through it with.
- Career coaching
Especially if goal-based planning or linear ladders don't fit how you actually think about work and life. For moments of reinvention, transition, or working out what the next chapter looks like.
If none of that is the thing, I'm probably not your person.
Tell me what you're trying to do.
A board seat, a keynote, a masterclass, a coaching conversation, or a problem you can't quite name yet — happy to hear it.
